Remembering John Denver, a tribute starring Ted Vigil
Ted Vigil is a singer, songwriter and a tribute artist. Born in Seattle and raised in the Olympia area. Ted’s been performing since the age of ten throughout school in concert, symphonic and jazz bands developing his talents as a drummer and singer. In 2006 he went on to Laughlin, NV to compete in the Talent Quest involving 28 states, New Zealand, Australia and Canada and he won first place!
Ted performed twice for John Denver’s personal charity. the “Winstar Foundation” in Aspen Colorado and from 2010-2014 performed with the late Steve Wiesberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player. Steve is quoted as saying, “Apparently the audience thinks all of John’s tribute artists look and sound like John. I don’t see that. I see it with Ted. A very strong physical resemblance which is uncanny!”
Ted’s 90- minute show with an intermission will have you singing along all night. You’ll hear all of John’s big hits like “Annie’s Song, Sunshine on My Shoulders & Thank God I’m a Country Boy. And in keeping with the holiday season a few songs from his top selling Christmas albums.
